GENERAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
MONGOLIAN UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES, MONGOLIA
AND
(UNIVERSITY/ORGANIZATION’S NAME, COUNTRY)
The Mongolian University of Life Sciences, Mongolia and (university/organization’s name, country), hereby enter into an agreement in order to cooperate in broad range of educational activities for the mutual benefit of our students, faculty, staff, institutions, states and nations. This agreement is dedicated to deepening the long-standing cooperation and goodwill between the people of Mongolia and the (country). In furtherance of these goals, the following activities are authorized.
· Student exchanges: Programs shall be developed enabling students from each institution to study at the other. Such programs shall be designed so as to allow for participating students to obtain full academic credit for studies undertaken during the exchange, to maximize, and to minimize the cost of participation.
· Faculty exchanges: Opportunities shall be created for faculty from both institutions to be in residence at the partner institution for the purposes of lecturing, conducting research, and otherwise developing their academic skills. Such programs, to the greatest extent possible, will be conducted on a reciprocal basis, providing commensurate opportunities for the faculty of both institutions.
· Research collaboration: Joint research activities will be encouraged and supported where the mutual interests and expertise of both institutions may be furthered.
In each of these areas and in any other area where the two institutions wish to cooperate, detailed arrangements will be articulated in separate memoranda of understanding. Either institution may elect to terminate this agreement on six months notice if it is determined that it no longer serves its interests. It is further agreed that the activities undertaken under this agreement will be reviewed and evaluated on an annual basis, and that this agreement will lapse after five years unless it is renewed by the agreement of the presidents of both institutions.
